I didn’t discover sound because I was looking for a new career. I discovered it because I was looking for a way to feel better.
I was struggling with depression and anxiety and had tried talk therapy, antidepressant medication, acupuncture and other approaches. I was searching for something that could help me access a deeper sense of peace.
Then I attended my first sound bath.
For the first time, my mind completely relaxed. I could breathe deeply and simply be present for an entire hour. Meditation had never come easily to me, but through sound, I found a way into stillness that felt natural and effortless.
That first experience changed my life.

For years, sound was simply something I loved.
I began exploring frequencies and vibration on my own, slowly collecting instruments and eventually assisting my mentor, Karen Parnell, with group sound sessions.
Being on the other side of the experience changed something for me. I wasn’t only experiencing the effects of sound myself anymore. I was watching other people relax, release and reconnect with themselves. I saw them walk in one way and leave feeling completely different.
Years later, I facilitated my first sound experience on my own. I remember looking at the faces of some of my closest friends afterward and knowing:
This is it.
What had begun as my own search for peace had become something I wanted to share with others.
Today, my approach combines more than a decade of personal practice with hands-on mentorship, formal training and years of facilitating experiences for individuals and groups.
To me, an exceptional sound experience isn’t simply about playing beautiful instruments. It’s about understanding how frequency, vibration, musicality, harmony, rhythm and dynamics work together to create a cohesive journey.
It’s also about everything surrounding the sound: the environment, instrument placement, transitions, volume, comfort and the energy and intention brought into the space.
Every detail matters because when people feel completely supported, they don’t have to do anything.
They can simply receive.

My education in sound is never finished.
I’ve spent years studying sound, vibration, energy work and the body’s response to stress and relaxation. My background includes extensive mentorship with sound practitioner Karen Parnell, Sound & Vibration certification through the Meditation School of Mindfulness, Reiki Master certification, energy-medicine study and continued professional sound education, including training with internationally recognized gong artist Mike Tamburo.
I’ve also had the privilege of turning what I’ve learned into education for others, developing and facilitating many cohorts of my own sound training program.
But credentials are only one part of the story.
Some of my greatest education has come from the countless hours I’ve spent working with instruments, facilitating sound for different people and groups and continually exploring what becomes possible through sound.

What excites me now is continuing to expand people’s idea of what a sound experience can be.
I love bringing sound into unexpected environments. I love collaborating with other practitioners and modalities. I love creating immersive experiences with a genuine wow factor. And I love the collective energy that happens when an entire room experiences a shift together.
Whether I’m teaching a small group, creating an experience in an unexpected setting or bringing sound to a larger audience, I want a Kelly Rose experience to feel different.
Thoughtfully created. Musically beautiful. Professionally executed. Deeply felt.
Most importantly, I want you to leave feeling a shift.
