About the event

Depending on the set-up; you may be on a bed, massage table, or reclining chair laying face up. An eye mask, blanket, and pillow will be provided for your comfort.

You do not need to “do” anything to receive the benefits of the session. Just being in the room and breathing is enough :)

Beginning with a gentle yoga nidra (example: relaxing from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet), your sound session facilitator will start your session off with calming words to help you settle into your body as the hand- hammered Himalayan metal bowls are played. When the moment is right, your facilitator will allow the instruments and their healing sounds to lead the rest of the session. During the session, you will experience a bowl placed on your chest and rubbed creating a “singing” or vibration. During one of the “singing” of the bowl times, you will be chanted over. This is not a religious chant but will be a unique chant full of positivity.

This work will continue for several days, and extra water is encouraged to support your body.

Sound and vibrations can be highly beneficial for various mental, emotional, and physical issues, including depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, dementia, autism, learning difficulties, behavioral and psychiatric disorders, sleep disorders, aches and pains, and even certain types of cancer.
